Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the maximum temperature limit for ceramic fiber textiles?
The continuous temperature use limit depends on the reinforcement: glass fiber reinforced textiles can withstand up to 650ºC, while stainless steel wire reinforced versions can handle up to 1000ºC.
2. What types of ceramic fiber textiles are available?
The product range includes ceramic fiber yarns, ropes (round braided, square braided, twisted, and woolen), tapes, and cloths.
3. What are the common reinforcement materials used?
We primarily use glass filament or stainless steel wire to enhance the strength and temperature resistance of the textiles.
4. Are these textiles resistant to thermal shock?
Yes, Luyangwool® ceramic fiber textiles exhibit excellent thermal shock resistance and thermal stability.
5. What is the typical density of ceramic fiber ropes and tapes?
Most of our ceramic fiber cloths, tapes, and braided ropes have a density of approximately 500 kg/m³.
6. What is the organic content in these products?
The organic content in our ceramic fiber textiles is maintained at ≤15%, which will burn off during initial heating.
