FibroCeram Materials
Engineered for high-temperature stability, low shrinkage, and exceptional thermal efficiency across petrochemical and industrial kilns.
Delivering world-class thermal insulation and ceramic fibre solutions tailored to the environmental and operational dynamics of the Dhofar Governorate.
As the Sultanate of Oman advances its Oman Vision 2040 strategy, the city of Salalah has emerged as a crucial industrial and logistical gateway in the Arabian Peninsula. Supported by the Salalah Free Zone (SFZ), the strategic Port of Salalah, and the Raysut Industrial City, the region host heavy industrial infrastructure ranging from petrochemical refining, methanol and ammonia synthesis, to gypsum manufacturing, power plants, and marine engineering.
Operating high-temperature processing equipment in Salalah introduces distinct thermal engineering challenges. The intense coastal ambient temperatures, elevated salinity, and humidity require advanced thermal insulation materials that deliver consistent thermal resistance, structural integrity under high heat, and low heat storage to maximize energy efficiency.
Henan FibroCeram Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (Titan New Material) serves as a trusted global manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of ceramic fibre felt, blankets, boards, and modules. We provide custom-engineered refractory solutions designed to withstand extreme thermal stresses while reducing fuel consumption for industrial enterprises throughout Salalah and the wider GCC region.
Salalah’s coastal climate demands refractories with superior resistance to micro-chemical degradation and salt-air ingress. Our ceramic fibre felts utilize ultra-pure alumina-silicate inorganic fibers treated with specialized binders to ensure dimensional stability and minimal thermal degradation.
Direct sea transport routes from our manufacturing bases straight into the Port of Salalah guarantee streamlined customs clearance, minimized transit times, and unbroken supply lines for planned furnace overhauls or emergency maintenance.
Understanding the thermomechanical properties, phase stability, and energy conservation mechanisms of refractory ceramic felts.
Refractory Ceramic Fibre (RCF) felts represent an advanced evolution in high-temperature insulation design. Manufactured from high-purity alumina-silicate bulk fibers bonded with selectively added organic or inorganic binding agents, ceramic fibre felts are processed through wet-forming vacuum filtration or mechanical needling. This produces a semi-rigid, lightweight, highly resilient mat with tight dimensional tolerances.
The porous interlocking structure of ceramic fibre felt traps motionless air within a microscopic ceramic network. This inhibits both conductive heat transfer through the solid phase and convective heat flow through air pockets, resulting in thermal conductivities significantly lower than dense refractory firebricks or heavy castables.
Because ceramic fibre felts possess extremely low thermal mass and flexible crystalline micro-structures, they exhibit near-zero vulnerability to thermal shock. Thermal cycling—rapid heating and cooling cycles standard in batch kilns or emergency shutdown procedures—does not cause spalling, cracking, or structural degradation.
Traditional refractories absorb and store massive amounts of heat, requiring extensive energy input just to bring equipment up to operating temperature. Ceramic fibre felt stores less than 1/10th of the thermal energy absorbed by dense refractories, driving substantial fuel savings during furnace start-up cycles.
