FibroCeram Materials
Ceramic Fiber Ropes are made from alumina-silica ceramic fiber and are free of asbestos. These ropes can be used in various industrial applications under temperatures up to 1260°C (2300 ºF), featuring excellent chemical stability, strong resistance to thermal shock, and corrosion attack. They also resist oxidation and reduction.
The rope contains approximately 15% organic carriers to assist physical formation, which burn out at around 400°C. Reinforcement materials such as Inconel wire or continuous fiber filaments are included to increase strength and durability.
