Product Description

Ceramic fiber bulk melts clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chromite sand and other raw materials at high temperature in an industrial electric furnace to form a fluid. Then use compressed air to blow or spin the fiber into a fibrous shape, and collect the cotton through the cotton collector to form ceramic fiber cotton.

Key Characteristics: Light weight, high strength, low thermal conductivity, good flexibility, small heat resistance and excellent sound insulation.

As the crucial and staple materials for producing ceramic fiber blanket, board, module and other formed products, ceramic bulk fiber is manufactured from high purity raw materials through unique production techniques. These bulks are loose, long and flexible with fine thermal properties. Chopped fibers for vacuum forming and lubricated bulk fibers for textiles are available.

Even if the finished product is wetted by oil, water or steam, its physical properties such as temperature resistance and heat insulation will not change. Fiber cotton can be further processed into fiber blankets, felts, boards, paper, cloth, rope and other products.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you ensure the quality of Ceramic Fiber Bulk?
For each production process, we implement a complete QC system for chemical composition and physical properties. All goods are tested post-production, and a quality certificate is provided with the shipment.
What is the typical lead time for an order?
It usually requires about 15 to 20 days after the purchase order (PO) is officially received.
Are free samples available for testing?
Yes, free samples are available. Generally, the buyer is responsible for the delivery costs.
What are your standard payment terms?
We accept a 30% deposit, with the remaining 70% balance against the BL copy, by LC, or through other negotiable payment terms.
Which international standards do your products meet?
Our products comply with major international standards including ASTM, ASME, AMS, DIN, and JIS. Third-party testing is also available.
Does moisture affect the performance of the fiber?
No, even if the ceramic fiber is wetted by oil, water, or steam, its physical properties like temperature resistance and thermal insulation remain unchanged once dried.
