Product Description
Rock Wool Product Details

Rock wool is mainly made from natural ores such as basalt and dolomite as the core raw materials, together with appropriate amounts of coke, limestone and other auxiliary materials. Under the extreme high temperature of 1450℃ or even higher, these raw materials are completely melted, and then with the help of international advanced four-axis centrifuges, they are stretched into fine fibers under the action of high-speed centrifugal force.

At the same time, a specific amount of binder, dust oil, water-repellent agent is sprayed into the fibers, which are collected by the cotton collector, and then combined with the three-dimensional method of laying the cotton by the pendulum method, and finally cured and cut into various specifications and uses of rock wool products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which insulation material is best for my home?
Exterior walls: Fireproof Class A rock wool or foam cement boards. Roof: XPS extruded boards for waterproof needs. Interior walls: Lightweight EPS or fiberglass wool.
How are fire resistance ratings classified?
Class A: Non-combustible (e.g., rock wool). Class B1: Flame-retardant (e.g., fire-resistant EPS/PU). Public buildings generally require Class A.
Are your products eco-friendly?
Yes, we provide fire resistance test reports (GB 8624) and eco-labels regarding formaldehyde emission and green building standards.
How do I calculate the required material quantity?
Use the formula: Area (m²) × Thickness (cm) ÷ Package volume to estimate your total requirements.
How long does the insulation last?
Typically 20–30 years. Inorganic materials like rock wool must stay dry to maintain peak performance over time.
Does winter installation affect performance?
In temperatures below 5°C, winter-grade adhesives should be used, and installation should avoid rain or snow.
