Ceramic fiber bulk melts clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chromite sand and other raw materials at high temperature in an industrial electric furnace to form a fluid. Then use compressed air to blow or spin the fiber into a fibrous shape, and collect the cotton through the cotton collector to form ceramic fiber cotton. It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, low thermal conductivity, good flexibility, small heat resistance and sound insulation.
As the crucial and staple materials for producing ceramic fiber blanket, board, module and other formed products, ceramic bulk fiber is normally manufactured from high purity raw materials-alumina powder, silica sand through unique production techniques of spun or blowing, these bulks are loose, long and flexible with fine thermal properties. Ceramic bulk fibers serve as an ideal filler for various types of refractory lining and insulation tools.
Even if the finished product is wetted by oil, water or steam, its physical properties such as temperature resistance and heat insulation will not change. Fiber cotton can be further processed into fiber blankets, felts, boards, paper, cloth, rope and other products.
